What a Democrat Congress Did To Your Wallet
Under a Democrat Congress:
- Paychecks lost ground to inflation. Prices rose faster than pay, so hourly wages fell 2.1% after inflation.
- Household income slipped below its pre-2021 peak. Real median household income fell from its 2019 high and stayed below it.
- The poverty rate stayed stuck above pre-pandemic levels. It never returned to the 2019 low of 10.5%.
We can’t go back.
